Jacob Lawrence

These two are from Jacob Lawrence. Their is color and warmth in my family and in I feel it in his " A family". I love blue, and i love the blues that I feel from the color and texture of this painting

Jacob Lawrence. They did not always leave because they were promised work in the North. Many of them left because of Southern conditions, one of them being great floods that ruined the crops, and therefore they were unable to make a living where they were. 1940-41. Tempera on gesso on composition board.

Romare Bearden

These are two of my favorite Romare Bearden pieces, I can relate to both of the them; i can realte to the train- DC metro and tow the security creativity and love in a quilt

My man Matisse

The following are my favorite lithogrpahs by Henri Matisse, they are lithographs after a gouache decoupage. Matisee's later works are some of my favorite works of art. I love his depiction of the female body.
